MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Minskers will be invited to get familiar with the Italian culture during the 16th Week of the Italian Language in the World, Italy’s Ambassador to Belarus Stefano Bianchi told a press conference in Minsk on 10 October, BelTA has learned.
The cultural events that the embassy launched with the Italy-Belarus Friendship Feast on 24 September will last five weeks. This year they all will be held under the sign of the Italian creativity, first of all, in such traditionally successful for Italy areas as fashion, design, music, cinematography, literature, linguistics and visual art. The Italian embassy jointly with partners prepared an eventful program for the Belarusian audience to get familiar with new trends in the Italian design and art.
The draw of the music program will be the premiere of La Traviata opera featuring Italian and French soloists in the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and ballet Theater on 27 October.
Another unique event will be the participation of troubled teenagers as models at the 7th fashion show Vogue Italia that will take place as part of the 16th Week of the Italian Language in the World.
“Last year we discussed together with Italy’s Ambassador to Belarus Stefano Bianchi the inclusion of children with special needs. This year we believe as important to discuss the inclusion of children and teenagers that have problems with the law.
