MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – The World Open, Sub-Junior, Junior & Master Classic Powerlifting Championships will take place in Minsk on 15-25 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry.
Belarus will field 15 athletes, including world record-holder in bench press Vladislav Popelsky, 2016 world champion Tatiana Domashina and 2017 European silver medalist Snezhana Zubko.
Competing at the championships in the Belarusian capital will be 874 athletes from 52 countries. The competitions are organized by the Sports and Tourism Ministry, the Minsk City Hall and the Belarusian Powerlifting Federation.
