MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – The Days of Culture of Vietnam will take place in Minsk in June 2018, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Le Anh noted at an event to sum up the Belarus-Vietnam cooperation in 2017 in the House of Friendship on 20 December, BelTA informs.
The embassy pays great attention to culture, the diplomat stressed. “We hope that our friendship and all-round cooperation will keep developing at all levels, including the cultural one,” he said.
The ambassador put a special focus on Belarus-Vietnam trade and economic relations. He expressed confidence that the 2017 visit of Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang to Belarus has given a strong impetus to the bilateral relations. During the visit, the two countries signed a package of documents, including a joint statement which reflected both countries’ similar positions on numerous matters on the international and bilateral agenda. “Belarus and Vietnam reaffirmed their commitment to the gradual development of their traditionally friendly relations,” Ambassador Le Anh remarked.
According to him, the visit has intensified the exchange of delegations between ministries and agencies, Vietnam’s provinces and Belarus’ regions, and also strengthened bilateral cooperation.
