MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital will play host to the fifth edition of the international short film festival Cinema Perpetuum Mobile on 8-17 April, BelTA learned from the organizers of the festival.
The program of the festival features short films from more than 100 countries. The audience will be invited to enjoy experimental films, documentaries, live-action and animated films. The program also includes new works by Belarusian directors and several films that will be screened out of competition. Partaking in the festival will be directors and cinema experts from Sweden, Poland, Estonia, Scotland, and Ukraine.
The international short film festival Cinema Perpetuum Mobile was established in 2011. It is aimed at promoting independent filmmaking, developing the Belarusian cinema, and creating a platform for a dialogue between filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts.
