MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) - Listapadzik film festival for children and youth audience will be held from 4 to 7 November, Igor Sukmanov, the Director of Minsk International Film Festival Listapad, director of the Listapadzik film festival for children and youth audience, told a press conference, BelTA has learned.
Igor Sukmanov noted that modern children's movies are not about entertainment only. These movies engage in a serious conversation with young people teaching them to enter adulthood without rosy glasses. Everything is done in a delicate and gentle manner. The program will be of interest to children and adult audience, he said.
The competition program of Listapadzik will open with Andreas Dresen’s Timm Thaler (Germany). All in all, the program will feature 10 movies from Iran, France, Germany, Colombia and other countries. The jury will be headed by Kai S. Pieck from Germany.
The audience will have a chance to meet with actors and directors from Germany, Colombia and China.
