MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – The international short film festival Unfiltered Cinema will take place in Minsk on 15-17 March, BelTA learned from chairman of the organizing committee Alexander Martynyuk.
The competition program of the forum will feature the best fiction, documentary, animated, experimental, and virtual reality films.
“The festival will include educational events: lectures, creative meetings, master classes from representatives of the Czech Republic and Sweden,” Alexander Martynyuk said.
The Unfiltered Cinema forum will gather representatives from the UK, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Poland, Russia, the United States, Ukraine, Finland, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Sweden and other countries.
The annual three-day international festival invites visitors not only to enjoy films, but also to leave feedback, discuss the productions, and communicate with filmmakers.
This year the cinema forum will be held on two major venues: Belarus Cinema House and the Y Gallery of Contemporary Art.
Karas Studio is the initiator of the Unfiltered Cinema festival. The forum is held with the participation of Kinovideoprokat Company of the Minsk City Hall and with the support of the Belarusian Culture Ministry.
