MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Academy of Communications will host the 23rd international conference Modern Means of Communications on 18-19 October, BelTA learned from the website of the Communications and Informatization Ministry.
“The conference has become an annual forum of research centers, higher learning institutions and companies specializing in development, introduction and operation of communication means. The Belarusian State Academy of Communications will bring together partner universities from abroad to review results achieved over the past year, to communicate best practices and to plan joint events for the next year,” the publication reads.
This year the conference will be structured into seven thematic sections, including “Information technologies and information communications”, “Information protection and information security solutions”, “Economy, quality management system, operation, management and marketing in communications”, “Teaching methods and innovative personnel training solutions for the communications sector”. Some 122 reports will be delivered during the plenary session and the thematic sections. The participating countries include Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Poland, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran and Turkmenistan.
On the second day of the conference, 19 October, a seminar on information security of the smart home system based on the Internet of things will be held. This event will be arranged for young scientists.
