MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) - The final of the international tennis competitions Fed Cup (women) will take place in Minsk in 2017. An organizing committee to prepare to the event has been set up following the instruction signed by the Belarusian prime minister on 10 August 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The organizing committee was headed by Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets.

The organizing committee was instructed to develop and approve a plan of action. If needed, the organizing committee can involve in the preparations for the forthcoming event heads and specialists of the national government bodies and other state organizations subordinate to the government, Minsk City Hall, the National Olympic Committee and others organizations.
