MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - Minsk will host the European Fencing U23 Championships in 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Belarus.

"Belarus’ First Deputy Sport and Tourism Minister, the Chairman of the Belarusian Fencing Federation Alexander Gagiev is attending a meeting of the Congress of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) in Montreux. He said that Belarus’ bid to host the U23 championships was supported unanimously,” the press service informed.
