MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – A non-stop career fair will be arranged at the 14th international Education and Career expo which will take place in Minsk on 11-13 February, BelTA learned from the organizers.
Taking part in the event will be the leading universities, colleges, high schools of Belarus, Russia, Lithuania and Poland, educational institutions of other countries, postgraduate and further education institutions, and travel agencies working in educational tourism.
The expo will showcase a wide range of programs, from school to post-graduate, including doctorate, and additional training and education programs abroad.
The program of the expo also includes seminars and presentations on current topics.
The Education and Career expo will be co-located with the 7th international exhibition “Education environment and educational technology”. The event will bring together the manufacturers and suppliers of technologies and solutions, products and services for the maintenance and support of the educational process at all levels of education and vocational training. The key point of the expo will be the third open international conference "IT road map: from goals to results.” Its task is to build the capacity for cooperation between IT specialists and the education sector by finding the best pedagogical and technological solutions in the field of informatization of education.
"These two events are meant to showcase innovations in education. It is equally important to create a professional information space for networking between the participants and discuss ways to implement modern technologies directly in the educational process. The expos will provide an ideal platform for constructive interaction between manufacturers of modern technologies and their immediate users,” the organizers said.
In 2015 the Education and Career expo brought together 121 exhibitors from 12 countries (Belarus, the United Kingdom, Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Malta, Slovakia, Switzerland, Cyprus, and Latvia). In 2016 the two popular events are expected to draw more than 150 exhibitors.
The organizers are the exhibition company Expoforum and the Education Committee of the Minsk City Hall.
