MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – The Days of Ukrainian and Korean Culture will be celebrated in the Belarusian capital on 18-19 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Hall.
On 18 August the Day of Ukrainian Culture in Upper Town will feature numerous performers from Ukraine and Belarus, a number of exhibitions showcasing paintings, arts and crafts, ceramics, Ukrainian literature, photographic works and confectionary products.
The festival is organized by the Minsk City Hall, the National Center of National Cultures, the Belarusian public association of Ukrainians Vatra, the Minsk public association of Ukrainians Zapovit, the Ukrainian embassy in Belarus.
On 19 August Svobody Square will host the Day of Korean Culture. The festival will feature K-POP dances, the music band Arirang, traditional Korean dancing and percussion instrument playing, taekwondo exhibition performances.
Visitors will be able to learn more about calligraphy, play Korean games, take a photo wearing traditional Korean clothes, sample Korean cuisine, and many more.
Among the organizers of the event in the Minsk City Hall, the Association of Belarusian Koreans, the Embassy of South Korea in Belarus.
