MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The conference 25 Years of Belarus’ Foreign Policy will be held in Minsk on 18 and 19 May as part of the Minsk Dialogue initiative, spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told the media on 18 May, BelTA has learned.
“The participants will discuss a wide range of matters, from the dawn of the sovereign foreign policy of Belarus and the development of the relations with the key political partners, to the issues relating to the conceptualization of the modern foreign policy of our country and the action to address the global and regional security threats,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
The list of participants includes the ministers who headed the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in different periods of time, MPs, Belarusian and foreign diplomats, and also international relations scholars and experts.
Given the importance of the subject of the conference, the opening ceremony of the event will be attended by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.
