MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – The 23rd Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum, an expo and the congress Energy. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro will take place in Minsk on 9-12 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian government’s website.
Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov has signed an executive order to set up the committee in charge of organizing the forum. The committee will be led by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko.
The forum is supposed to present modern equipment and technologies for generating and distributing electric and heat energy, automated systems, energy- and resource-saving technologies. The forum is supposed to assist with the innovation-driven development of Belarus’ fuel and energy complex, encourage broader cooperation and the exchange of cutting-edge R&D products and projects.
Since 1995 the expo has attracted leading Belarusian and foreign producers and vendors of equipment, technologies, and materials for power engineering, ecology, energy saving, and electric technology. Over 300 organizations from 17 countries took part in the event in 2017.
