MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) - The Estonian Culture Day will be held in the Upper Town of Minsk on 10 August, BelTA learned from the Estonian Embassy in Belarus.
The Estonian association “Swallow” and the Estonian Embassy in Belarus have put up a program of the celebration which will span five venues. The concert program kicks off at 12.30 on the main stage at the Upper Town concert hall. The line-up will feature Kungla Chamber Choir from Viljandimaa, Saxon wind orchestra and Kajakas folk dance group from Parnu, KUU female folk dance group, the youth wind orchestra and string orchestra of Harjumaa, Estonian artist Marko Matvere.
Visitors will have an opportunity to taste the Estonian cuisine, including traditional fish dishes. Cooking classes will be on the program too.
Artisans from Estonia will be joined by representatives of the Belarusian Union of Craftsmen for an arts and crafts fair.
