MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – Minsk National Airport welcomed its three-millionth passenger in 2017, BelTA learned from the airport’s press service.
The passenger arrived in Minsk from Domodedovo Airport, Russia on the Belavia flight B2952 at 4 p.m.
“In 2016, the airport welcomed the three-millionth passenger on 10 November. This year it happened a couple of months earlier, which shows that the passenger flow is growing steadily,” the press service noted.
Minsk National Airport is Belarus’ first international airport that has been certified in compliance with the international standard ISO 9001. The airport offers flights to over 40 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions.
