Minsk named most popular destination for Russian families with children during winter break
MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital is leading among the cities most popular with Russian families with children during the winter break, BelTA learned from the hotel search and reservation service RoomGuru.ru.
The list of ten most popular cities for trips with children during winter holidays includes Minsk, Tallinn, Prague, Baku, Budapest, Helsinki, Yerevan, Berlin, Riga, and Vienna.
Russian tourists will spend in Minsk an average of four days paying approximately RUB3,200 for accommodation per day. Vitebsk and Brest are also among popular cities with Russian tourists.
Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Sochi, and Vologda are the top five domestic tourism destinations for Russians.
The ranking was compiled based on the number of hotel reservations for families with children for the period from 28 December 2016 to 10 January 2017.
