MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) - Minsk tops the ranking of the most popular destinations for Russian travelers during the February break. This data was provided by the internet hotel booking service RoomGuru.ru, BelTA has learned.
Minsk is the most popular foreign travel destination for weekend vacation among Russians. Tbilisi, Baku, Budapest, Tallinn, Barcelona, Yerevan, Riga, Vilnius and Rome are also in top ten.
Russians pay on average $45 per day for accommodation in the Belarusian capital. The accommodation is the cheapest in Vilnius (on average of €37 per day); the most expensive is in Rome (more than €100).
Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Kazan are the top ten domestic tourism destinations for Russians.
The ranking was compiled based on the number of hotel reservations for the period from 23 to 26 February 2017.
