MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – A public Wi-Fi hotspot will become available at the Minsk metro transfer stations in 2018, BelTA learned from the Delovaya Set company.
The Wi-Fi services will be provided at the stations Oktyabrskaya and Kupalovskaya, including the tunnel that connects them, under a joint project between the Minsk metro and Delovaya Set. The project has been approved by Minsk City Hall, the feasibility studies and surveys have already been conducted.
The decision to apply this experience at other Minsk metro stations will depend on the success of the pilot project and demand for public Wi-Fi. According to the Delovaya Set top executives, Minsk should not lag behind other cities in this sector of services, where such projects became a reality long ago.
Founded in 1998, Delovaya Set specializes in B2B high-speed internet services and provides its infrastructure to launch innovative services.
