MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Artists from 16 countries will take part in the first Minsk international festival of circus art on 21-24 September, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian State Circus.
The program will feature about 100 artists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Germany, Australia, Vietnam, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United States.
The three-day competitions will be divided into two programs and the jury will select the participants for the gala concert which is to take place on 24 September.
The jury will comprise famous circus producers and directors.
The first Minsk international festival of circus art will become one of the important events to mark the 950th anniversary of Minsk.
