MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – The Museum of the History of Theatrical and Musical Culture that is a branch of the National History Museum of Belarus will present its interactive show May Night Mystery as part of the international campaign Night of Museums 2015 on 16 May, BelTA learned from the National History Museum.
“Wrapped in mystery the 200-year-old House of Masons where the Museum of the History of Theatrical and Musical Culture is currently located will open its doors during the Night of Museums and reveal some of its secrets. We invite everyone to seek for the answer to the main mystery – the mystery of art –together with actors, dancers, opera singers, and musicians,” the museum said.
The House of Masons will present to its visitors a modern adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera with the participation of soloists of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus.
The visitors will also see fragments from The Pit and other theatrical performances.
