MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) – Minsk is hosting the Commonwealth Hockey Cup final on 5-7 May, BelTA has learned.
Taking part in the tournament are four CIS teams: Stroitel Brest, HC Minsk, Ukraine’s HC OKS-SHVSM Vinnitsa, and Russia’s Dinamo Elektrostal.
Russia’s Dinamo Elektrostal is leading with nine points after the first round. Belarus’ Stroitel and Minsk are second and third respectively.
The matches are held in the Gorky Park. The tournament was first held in 2010. Stroitel Brest was the one to raise the maiden trophy. Olympia Kolos from Ukraine won the tournament two times then. Russia’s Dinamo Elektrostal has been the winner of the tournament since 2013.
