MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – The 2019 European Muaythai Championships will kick off at the Minsk Palace of Sports on 5 November, BelTA has learned.
Belarus will field 90 athletes (senior and junior). Among them are winners and medalists of international competitions, European and world championships Dmitry Varets (67kg), Andrei Kulebin (71kg), Vitaly Gurkov (75kg), Dmitry Valent (86kg), and Darya Belkova (60kg).
Preliminary bouts will start at 14h00 Minsk time. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 18h00. The competitions will feature more than 520 athletes from 26 countries.
The 2019 European Muaythai Championships will be over on 10 November.
