MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Leading cyclists from 13 countries will take part in the international tournament Minsk Grand Prix, BelTA has learned.
The first races are scheduled to take place at the Minsk Arena velodrome on 18 May. The Belarusian team will comprise Roman Romanov, Anton Muzychkin and Tatyana Sharakova.
Russia will be represented by five teams: the national team, and also teams from Moscow, Tula and Samara. Ukraine will be represented by the country’s national team and teams from Lvov and Kharkov.
Competing in the Minsk Grand Prix will be cyclists from Kazakhstan, Greece, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
The organizers have expanded the competition program: ten medal events for men and seven – for women, including a busy calendar for juniors. The Minsk Grand Prix will be over on 20 May.
