MOSCOW, 28 November (BelTA) – The Ingushetia Culture Days will be held in Minsk and Brest on 7-8 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the government of the Russian region.
The program includes the events that will introduce the Belarusians to the national singing and dancing traditions of the Ingush people, the unique customs and natural wealth, cultural and artistic heritage of Ingushetia.
The concert halls of the Belarusian State Philharmonic and Brest Regional Palace of Culture of the Trade Unions will host a book-illustrative exhibition dedicated to Ingushetia and its future, a fine arts exhibition and a documentary photo expo about representatives of the Ingush people who defended the Brest Fortress, painting master classes and concerts.
The concerts will feature the state folk dance ensemble Ingushetia, People's Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia Alaudin Esmurziev, Honored Artist of Ingushetia Rakhman Bekov, winner of the first TV channel show “The Voice Kids” Ragda Khaniyev, Honored Artist of Ingushetia Lema Nalgieva, actress Zara Bazorkina and many others.
A delegation from Ingushetia led by Minister of Culture and Archival Affairs Maret Gadziyeva is expected to meet with representatives of the Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Brest City Hall.
“The culture days will help promote cultural ties between Russia and Belarus, facilitate an exchange and mutual enrichment of the cultures of our nations, bilateral contacts in the cultural sector. This will also contribute to the preservation of the memory about the Fatherland defenders during the Great Patriotic War,” the press service said.
The Ingushetia Culture Days are organized by the Culture Ministry of Ingushetia in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Culture Ministry of Belarus.
