MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – Minsk National Airport has welcomed its 2017 four-millionth passenger, BelTA learned from the press service of the airport.
Vsevolod Belyaev, the 2017 four-millionth passenger, arrived in Minsk from Pulkovo Airport, St. Petersburg.
The passenger was greeted by Director General of Minsk National Airport Dmitry Melikyan. “This is a landmark, record-breaking figure for us,” he said. In turn, Vsevolod Belyaev said that he lives in Belarus. “My job is associated with sales promotion in the CIS, particularly in the Central and Middle Asia. This is why I have to fly a lot. This is my 205th flight this year, 70th with Belavia,” he said.
Minsk National Airport gave Vsevolod Belyaev a certificate for annual VIP-hall service, and Belavia Airline a certificate for a ticket in business class on any regular route.
Minsk National Airport is Belarus' first international airport that has been certified for compliance with the international standard ISO 9001. The airport is home to the national air carrier Belavia and the cargo carriers Transaviaexport, Rubystar, and Genex. The airport offers flights to over 40 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions.
