MFA releases book of memory about Belarusian diplomats - war veterans

MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) - Belarus’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs has uploaded an e-book of memory about Belarusian diplomats - veterans of the Great Patriotic War on its website, BelTA has learned.

The book has been published in the Publications section. During the week, the employees of the ministry will share the stories about the life of their colleagues that the book tells about on social media pages.

“The war did not spare anyone: children, old people, men, women, doctors, teachers, workers, diplomats... It entered every household and left its indelible mark. It became a part of the life of many future employees of the foreign policy department of the BSSR and, in some cases, modern Belarus,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.

The ministry also urged social media users to share stories of their families and colleagues under the hashtag #BY75.
