MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) - Belarusian Ilya Polozkov and Yaroslav Radzyuk won silver medals at the Modern Pentathlon European Championships in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Sport and Tourism Ministry.
Ilya Polozkov and Yaroslav Radzyuk scored 1,485 points in the men's relay to place second to Italy’s Giuseppe Parisi and Roberto Micheli (1,495 points). Russian Kirill Belyakov and Alexander Lifanov came in third with 1,476 points.
This is the second medal of Team Belarusian in Nizhny Novgorod. Earlier, Olga Silkina and Anastasia Prokopenko won gold in the women's relay.
Some 120 athletes from 16 countries are competing at the 2021 Modern Pentathlon European Championships. The tournament will be running till 11 July.
