MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) - Argentine legend Diego Maradona will visit Belarus for a Belarus’ championship match between FC Dinamo Brest and FC Soligorsk Shakhter on 16 July, BelTA learned from the club.

“Diego Maradona confirmed he will visit Belarus on 3 July. Now we are working on the program of his visit and will announce the details later,” spokeswoman for FC Dinamo Brest Olga Khizhinkova said.

As it was reported, Argentinian Diego Maradona signed a three-year contract to join the Belarusian club Dinamo Brest as their new chairman. He will oversee the strategic development of the club and all its structural units, including the children's academy.
