MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian magazine Maladost will publish the best assays of Chinese students about Belarus in 2018, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry of Belarus.

The Belarusian embassy in China and the magazine Maladost have announced a competition of assays about Belarus. Taking part in the competition are invited the centers of the Belarusian culture in China and also all the Chinese students that study in Belarus. “The best assays will be published in the magazine Maladost in one of the issues of 2018 dedicated to China,” the ministry said.

Participants are suggested sharing their observations of the stereotypes about China that exist among Belarusians and those about Belarus existing among the Chinese people, write a fictional biography (if I was born in Belarus), and tell about their experience of living in the Belarusian climate.

An assay not more than 7,000 symbols in Belarusian, Russian or Chinese can be submitted before 31 March 2018 inclusively to the email addresses: china@mfa.gov.by (from China), vdsd@tut.by (for Belarus) with a note “Assay Competition about Belarus”
