MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Maksim Nedasekau of Belarus cleared 2.24m to win the high jump event at the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting in Hengelo, the Netherlands on 6 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.
The Belarusian cleared 2.15m on his second attempt and then cleared the heights of 2.20m and 2.24m on the first attempt, repeating his best result of the season. Maksim Nedasekau also attempted the height of 2.30m, but could not clear it.
Australia’s Brandon Starc won silver with 2.20m. Italy’s Gianmarco Tamberi showed the same result to place third.
