Lukashenko sends greetings to Belarus’ sports delegation at 3rd Youth Olympic Games
MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to members of the Belarusian sports delegation at the 3rd Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You have come through difficult qualifications and deserved the right to represent Belarus at the competitions in Buenos Aires. The Youth Olympic Games are opening the door to the world of big sports for young, strong and ambitious athletes. You will contribute to
the sports reputation of your Motherland. This is a great honor and huge responsibility,” the message of greetings says.Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that thanks to the talent, hard work and the will to win Belarusian athletes will conquer the Olympic podium. “Sporting achievements will be a great start to your careers and will demonstrate the efficiency of the national sport system,” the head of state said.
He wished the members of the sports delegation strong health, strength of mind and good luck.
