MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on his Name Day, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your ample experience of ministry and constructive work serve to preserve and promote spiritual and cultural legacy of Slavonic peoples, while fruitful work as head of the Russian Orthodox Church contributes to strengthening moral guidelines in every possible way,” the message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko is strongly convinced that Patriarch Kirill will keep defending and promoting Christian values and traditions built upon goodness, justice and mercy. The head of state wished him good health, happiness and a long life ahead.
