Lukashenko congratulates Belarusian athletes on great performance at 2018 UIPM World Championships

MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated members of the Belarusian modern pentathlon national team Anastasia Prokopenko and Irina Prosentsova on great performance at the 2018 UIPM World Championships in Mexico, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Anastasia’s gold medial in the individual Olympic program and your joint victory in the women’s relay reaffirm a high level of the national modern pentathlon school. Well done!” the message of congratulations runs. “The same as numerous Belarusian fans, I hope that our pentathletes will do well at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo,” the head of state added.

The Belarusian leader wished the athletes and the whole national team strong health and good luck.
