MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – Logoisk and Silichi have been ranked in the top 10 ski destinations for Russians in the Commonwealth of Independent States and Georgia. The ranking was compiled by the hotel search and reservation service RoomGuru.ru, BelTA has learned.
The top 10 features Shymbulak (Kazakhstan), Gudauri (Georgia), Logoisk (Belarus), Shahdag (Azerbaijan), Tsaghkadzor (Armenia), Bakuriani (Georgia), Bukovel (Ukraine), Chimgan (Uzbekistan), Karakol (Kyrgyzstan), and Silichi (Belarus). Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort was named the most visited ski resort in Russia.
Russian tourists spend in Logoisk and Silichi some $52 per day, which makes the Belarusian ski resorts the third cheapest option on the list. The sum includes the average cost of hotel or apartment accommodation per day, a lunch in a cafe and a ski pass.
The ranking was compiled based on the number of hotel and apartment reservations for the period of Christmas and New Year holidays from 30 December 2016 to 8 January 2017.
