MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Head coach of the Belarusian national ice hockey team Dave Lewis has called 27 players for the first Euro Ice Hockey Challenge training camp, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
The roster of Team Belarus includes:
goaltenders: Vitaly Belinsky, Mikhail Karnaukhov (both Dinamo Molodechno), Alexander Borodulya (Yunost Minsk), Maxim Samankov (Neman Grodno);
defensemen: Andrei Filichkin, Pavel Kazakevich (both Dinamo Molodechno), Roman Dyukov, Christian Henkel (both Yunost Minsk), Dmitry Zakharenko, Nikita Ustinenko (both Dinamo Minsk), Alexander Yeronov, Mikhail Khoromando (both Gomel), Ilya Kaznadei (Neman Grodno);
forwards: Viktor Andryushchenko, Artyom Levsha, Alexander Levko, Artyom Demkov (all Shakhtyor Soligorsk), Pavel Boyarchuk (Neman Grodno), Andrei Stepanov, Alexander Pavlovich, Dmitry Ambrozheichik, Nikita Komarov, Stanislav Lopachuk (all Dinamo Minsk), Pavel Razvadovsky, Artyom Volkov (both Yunost Minsk), Pavel Musiyenko, Igor Revenko (both Gomel).
Team Belarus will hold its training camp at Minsk Arena on 2-4 November. After that the Belarusian national team will travel to Latvia’s Liepaja to play Italy (5 November), Latvia (6 November), and Japan (7 November). The game with the Latvian team will be broadcast live on the Belarus Five TV Channel.
