MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – The latest products of the Belarusian book publishing industry will be presented during the Red Square book festival in Moscow on 3-6 June, BelTA learned from the Publishing and Trade Office of the Belarusian Information Ministry.
The books published in Belarus in the last few years will be in the spotlight of the Belarusian exposition during the festival. Those are the best copies of books from various areas of interest such as textbooks for students and teachers, popular science books, scientific publications, reference books, encyclopedias, business books, fiction books, and books for children.
The book festival Red Square will be timed to Alexander Pushkin’s birthday anniversary and Russian Language Day. The first festival took place in the Red Square in 2015. This year the event will become annual.
The book festival Red Square is the key event of the book publishing industry. It will gather about 400 Russian publishing houses. In comparison with last year’s event the program of the festival has grown larger and now includes more participants, events, and books. Nearly 400 events will take place as part of the festival, including a meeting of Belarusian and Russian writers and a roundtable session for discussing common matters and cooperation development.
