MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 377 Kristina Dmitruk won the ITF Spain 22A tournament in Ourense on 21 August defeating world number 258 Nefisa Berberovic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 7-5, 6-1, in the final, BelTA has learned.
This is the second singles title for the 18-year-old Belarusian in the ITF tournaments. She also reached the finals in the other three tournaments.
On her way to success Kristina Dmitruk cruised past Yara Alhogbani of Saudi Arabia, 6-0, 6-0, saw off Victoria Gomez of Spain, 6-4, 6-0, solved world number 85 Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3, and triumphed over Francisca Jorge of Portugal, 6-4, 6-2.
