MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) - Belarus' cyclist of Bahrain–Merida team Konstantin Sivtsov won the third stage of Tour of Croatia 2018, BelTA has learned.
The race took place on Thursday from Trogir to Sv. Jure on Biokovo in length of 134 kilometers, of which the last 28 kilometers were extremely difficult with continuous steep climb.
The Belarusian surpassed Pieter Weening of the Netherlands by four seconds. Third was Yevgeniy Gidich of Kazakhstan. Konstantin Sivtsov topped the overall standings thanks to the victory in the third stage.
The Tour of Croatia 2018 will include another three stages, with the final race scheduled to take place in Zagreb on 22 April.
