Khoroshki perform in French Lyon
MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) – A concert of the Belarusian state dance company Khoroshki took place in French Lyon on 2 July before Belarus’ Independence Day, BelTA learned from the embassy of Belarus in France.
The event was organized by the embassy of Belarus in France, Honorary Consul of Belarus in Lyon Jean Jacques Rinck, and the association of Belarusians in Lyon BelArt with the financial assistance of the Belarusian Culture Ministry.
The concert featured singing, instrumental and dance pieces from Khoroshki’s repertoire which reflects the music and dance traditions of the Belarusian people.
“The performing talent of Belarusian artists, high quality of original dance performances of People’s Artist of Belarus Valentina Gayevaya were admired by the French audience,” the representatives of the embassy said.
