VITEBSK, 28 December (BelTA) – The museum of local history in Postavy, Vitebsk Oblast is hosting an exhibition of cold weapons, BelTA learned from the museum.

The exhibition has been organized by the art association RamzesExpo that already held a series of exhibitions in Postavy. The items on display include 150 full-size and miniature copies of mostly cold weapons. The exhibition space can be roughly divided into themed zones such as Japan, Dagestan, Medieval Europe, and a pirate’s corner. Among the exhibits there are copies of weapons of real historical personalities and fictitious characters like, for example, Conan the Barbarian, research assistant Vadim Shishko noted.

Visitors are invited to not only have a look at the swords, katanas, wakizashis, battle axes, and daggers but also touch them and take photos.

The exhibition will run until 30 January.
