MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 46 Ilya Ivashka beat Spain’s world number 44 Albert Ramos 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) in the 2021 Paris Masters opener on 1 November, BelTA has learned.
The match lasted for an hour and 35 minutes. Ilya Ivashka will next face Russia’s world number two Daniil Medvedev.
Belarus’ world number 112 Egor Gerasimov lost to Serbia’s world number 69 Miomir Kecmanovic, 2-6, 6-7 (3-7) in the first qualifying match.
The 2021 Paris Masters will be over on 7 November.
