STOCKHOLM, 12 May (BelTA) – Europe will name the second ten finalists of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest on 12 May, BelTA has learned.
Latvia’s Justs with the song Heartbeat will open the second semifinal. Other singers will perform at the Globe Arena in the following order:

5. IVAN (Belarus), Help You Fly;
6. Sanja Vucic (Serbia), Goodbye;
7. Nicky Byrne (Ireland), Sunlight;
8. Kaliopi (Macedonia), Dona;
9. Donny Montell (Lithuania), I've Been Waiting for This Night;
10. Dami Im (Australia), Sound of Silence;
11. ManuElla (Slovenia), Blue and Red;
12. Poli Genova (Bulgaria), If Love Was a Crime;
13. Lighthouse X (Denmark), Soldiers of Love;
14. Jamala (Ukraine), 1944;
15. Agnete (Norway), Icebreaker;
16. Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz (Georgia), Midnight Gold;
17. Eneda Tarifa (Albania), Fairytale;
18. Laura Tesoro (Belgium), What's the Pressure?.
Romania has been expelled from the Eurovision Song Contest after its national broadcaster failed to pay outstanding debts dating back to 2007.
The ten singers earning the most votes in the second semifinal will progress to join those who succeeded in the first semifinal on 10 May. These are singers from Azerbaijan, Russia, the Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, Austria, Armenia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus and Malta.
According to the Eurovision rules, entries from the Big Five, the five main sponsoring countries of the Eurovision Song Contest: Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK, take part in the final. Sweden also goes directly to the final as the country which representative won the previous competition.
The second semifinal of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast live by the Belarus One, Belarus 24 TV channels, and also the Belarusian TV and Radio Company.
