MOGILEV, 23 March (BelTA) – The 10^th International Youth Theater Forum M@rt.contact opened in Mogilev on 21 March, BelTA has learned.

“M@rt.contact is a creative lab, a foundation of the modern Belarusian art. Partaking in the forum are a lot of creative people who are not afraid of experiments and are in constant creative search. They have a special view of the events happening in everyday life. It is quite possible that the innovative ideas will turn into classics tomorrow,” First Deputy Culture Minister Irina Driga said.

The program of the forum was opened by the production of the Shelter of the Comedian St Petersburg State Drama Theater “Intrigue and Love”.

The International Youth Theater Forum M@rt.contact is a long-awaited holiday for Mogilev people. Tickets for theater productions sell well. This year’s forum will feature 19 productions of theaters from ten countries, namely Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Lithuania, Israel, Germany, Estonia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan. The results of the festival will be announced on 27 March.
