MOGILEV, 4 September (BelTA) – The online international roundtable “Fiction as a path to each other: words as a means of creation and destruction” timed to the Belarusian Written Language Day will take place on 5 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Information Ministry.
“The event will be held at the platform for videoconferencing Zoom and will bring together experts from more than ten countries, including Belarus, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Sweden,” the ministry noted.
The participants of the roundtable are set to discuss the strength and influence of words on people and the world. Moreover, the experts will be invited to advise three books for the youth to read, including both classical and contemporary literature.
The roundtable is expected to bring together more than 40 participants, including representatives of the Belarusian Information Ministry, writers, publishers, researchers, professors, candidates of science, marketers, publicists, journalists, and local history experts.
