Vadim Gigin, one of the project’s initiators, Secretary of the Belarusian Union of Journalists, said that the idea to arrange such a school was born during the 19th World Congress of Russian Press in Minsk in July 2017.
BY-RU Workshop has already been tested in Grodno. Journalism professionals and mass media experts from Belarus and Russia arranged a series of master classes at premises of the Grodzenskaya Prauda newspaper over the course of eight months.
