MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital will play host to the international expo of telecommunications, information and banking technologies TIBO 2016 on 19 to 22 April. The concept and plan of the event were approved at the first meeting of the TIBO 2016 organizing committee, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.
The program of the forum features expo TIBO 2016, the Belarusian congress on information society technologies, the Belarusian-Azerbaijani business forum on information and communication technologies, a meeting of ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries, the exhibition and conference Trade Forum – Innovation Technologies in Trade, and the Belarusian-German forum Industry 4.0. – Innovations in Manufacturing Sector.
The program also includes roundtables on digital transformation of the R&D sector, financial services sector, and new education technologies. Winners of the TIBO 2016 Internet Award will be honored as part of the international forum.
Invitations to attend the forum have been sent to the heads of the missions of international organizations in Belarus and ministries of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine, Estonia, and other countries and to representatives of large international IT companies. A personal invitation will be extended to the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union.
The annual international forum TIBO of telecommunications, information and banking technologies was founded in 1994.
