H.O.H. Spring Challenge moto season in top 3 tourist events in Minsk

MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – The moto season H.O.G. Spring Challenge is among the top 3 tourist events held in Minsk, Svetlana Demeshko, deputy head of sports and tourism at Minsk City Hall, told journalists on 14 April, BelTA has learned.

“At tourist expos we always present Minsk as a modern clean safe city with an enormous number of different attractions for every tourist. The moto season .O.G. Spring Challenge is among the top three tourist events in Minsk. It is also the third biggest event in the capital. The first one is Minsk Half Marathon (30,000 participants). The second-largest event is Viva Rovar bike festival (almost 15,000). Last year, the H.O.G. Rally Minsk moto season wrap up show brought together some 7,500 people. I think this festival has all the chances to break the records,” Svetlana Demeshko said.

She offered the organizers to announce the date of another edition of the festival as soon as possible. “When we attend some tourism expos in November and give a presentation about Minsk, we announce the schedule for the upcoming year. If it provides a specific date of the event, tour operators will arrange special tours of the festival if they learn it,” the official underlined.

The moto season H.O.G. Spring Challenge 2018 will open on 29 April. It is expected to bring together bikers from Belarus, Russia, the Baltic State, and Western Europe. They are set to drive from the Mound of Glory to the House of Football which will host several entertaining events: a unique show of world starts Moto Freestyle, a performance by Harley-Davidson stunt riders, and a show room with new models by the legendary brand.
