MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - Alina Harnasko of Belarus claimed gold at the second phase of Spain’s Iberdrola League of Clubs (rhythmic gymnastics), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association.
The competitions among teams from different regions of Spain took place in Logrono. The team tournament was won by the Club Ritmo representing Castile and Leon. Alina Harnasko performs as part of the team. Belarus’ top athlete in rhythmic gymnastics made a significant contribution to the success of her team, scoring the best 37.250 with the hoop and 35.750 with the ribbon.
As part of the League of Clubs phase the Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist and her coach, Olympic champion Marina Lobatch held a clinic for young athletes. Prior to the Spanish tournament, Alina Harnasko took part in the French Club Championships where her team GRS Paris Centre placed fourth.
