MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Alina Harnasko of Belarus clinched the Individual All-Around silver at the 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Japan, BelTA has learned.
Following the qualification round she was third behind Russian sisters Dina Averina and Arina Averina.
In the final the Belarusian scored a total of 105,300 points. She scored 27,400 points with the Clubs, 22,850 points with the Ribbon, 27,150 points with the Hoop, and 27,900 points with the Ball.
Dina Averina of Russia placed first with a total of 108,400 points. The Russian athlete became the first 18-time world champion in the history of rhythmic gymnastics, breaking the record of Evgeniya Kanaeva who holds 17 world champion titles.
Arina Averina won bronze with 103,200 points.
Anastasiia Salos of Belarus placed 10th with 95,340 points.
