MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – Alina Harnasko of Belarus clinched bronze at the 2021 FIG World Cup in Pesaro, Italy, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association.
The Belarusian scored 23,500 points to place third with the Ribbon. Arina Averina of Russia scored 24,700 points to celebrate the win, with Dina Averina placing second (24,650).
Alina Harnasko finished fourth with the Clubs behind Russian sisters Arina and Dina Averina and Israel’s Linoy Ashram. Anastasiia Salos placed fourth with the Hoop. Alina Harnasko placed fifth. The top three here were Dina and Arina Averina and Linoy Ashram. The same athletes graced the podium in the Ball routine, where Anastasiia Salos placed fourth and Alina Harnasko sixth.
The Belarusian team placed fourth with Five Balls (43,650 points). Bronze went to Japan (43,800 points). Russia was second with 45,350 points. Italy won the event with an overall of 46,950 points. Belarus finished fifth with the Hoops and Clubs.
Belarus claimed three bronze medals at the 2021 FIG World Cup in Pesaro. Earlier, bronze medals were clinched by Alina Harnasko and Belarus’ team.
Competing at the FIG World Cup in Pesaro, Italy were 170 athletes from 35 countries. The 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships are scheduled for 9-13 June in Varna, Bulgaria.
